First responders were called to a chemical leak at a building on Merritt Boulevard in Trumbull Tuesday morning. The chemical was determined to be mildly corrosive and an irritant.
Police said Easton resident Shahid Malik was killed Wednesday when he drove the wrong way on Route 25 in Trumbull, striking a van in a head-on crash.
A section of Route 25 north between Exit 9 and Route 111 in Trumbull has been closed after a two-vehicle crash, state officials reported.
Police said the woman performed CPR and rescue breathing after the child was pulled from a Trumbull pool “blue and unresponsive” last week.
Trumbull police said DCF was notified when the boy was reported missing Tuesday after he was last seen around noon the previous day.
A shopper noticed the boy in the mall around noon Tuesday. The boy was with police until he was reunited with his mother.
